  The sanitary Y-type filter is composed of a filter cartridge and a filter screen. The filter screen is fixed inside the filter cartridge. When the medium enters the filter cartridge through the inlet, after being filtered by a certain size filter screen, solid particles or impurities will be blocked in the filter element. The medium that meets the production requirements is discharged from the outlet of the filter.

  After the medium flows from the filter into the filter element in the cylinder, it removes a small amount of solid particles and maintains the normal operation of other equipment. When the fluid enters the filter cylinder, the particles and impurities larger than the filter screen accuracy are blocked in the filter screen, and the clean liquid is discharged.
  Y-type filter is an indispensable filter device for the pipeline system that transports the medium. It is usually installed at the end of a pressure reducing valve, a pressure relief valve, a fixed water level valve or other equipment to remove impurities in the medium to protect the valve and equipment normal use. The Y-type filter has the characteristics of advanced structure, low resistance and convenient sewage discharge. The suitable medium of Y-type filter is water, oil and gas. Generally, the water distribution network is 18-30 mesh, the ventilation network is 10-100 mesh, and the oil distribution network is 100-480 mesh. When the liquid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, the solid particles or impurities are blocked in the filter basket, while the clean fluid is discharged from the filter outlet through the filter basket.

Installation Instructions

1. When the medium with larger particles or impurities passes through the filter, these larger solid particles and impurities will be filtered and stay in the filter element of a certain size, thereby preventing these solid particles and impurities from entering the subsequent pipeline.

2. When the filter element needs to be cleaned or the filter element is damaged, the Y-type filter only needs to remove the joint and the filter element, then it can be cleaned and replaced, and it can be used after re-installation.

3. The filter container is made of 304/316 stainless steel recommended by FDA, and has the characteristics of high interception rate, high flow rate, low pressure difference, good thermal stability and wide chemical compatibility unmatched by other similar products.

4. The inner cylinder is a stainless steel punching and forming filter cylinder, which is closely matched with a wire mesh structure, which is easy to disassemble and clean. Suitable for filtration of beer, CIP wash liquor and hot wort. According to the actual use of customers, 20-100 mesh stainless steel wire mesh can be selected.
